India continued their supremacy on the South Asian Games stage after finishing on top with a record-breaking haul of 308 medals as the Games came to a close in Shillong on Tuesday. On the last day, the hosts added 7 gold and 2 silver medals to their tally to finish with a bang in the 12th edition.

South Asian Games: India race past 300 medals as boxers scoop gold
The boxers made a clean sweep of all the seven gold medals on offer on day 10 of the SAG as India continued their supremacy at the top of the table with 301 medals overall. In the penultimate day of the Games, shooters ended their campaign with a staggering tally of 25 gold medals out of the 26 on offer.

South Asian Games: India bag record 238 medals as dominance continues
India secured 22 gold, 17 silver and 4 bronze medals on day 6 of the 12th South Asian Games to go past their best-ever medal haul in the history of the Games, which they set in the 2006 edition in Colombo. India now has 238 medals overall and looks set to add more with five more days remaining.
