WOMEN'S 200m SEMIS

So Hima Das will be in action soon, and the Indian is a sure shot in the final. IN fact she is a contender for gold too.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

It is a foul in the third by Ancy and there is no way she can make it to the final of the event.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

A second attempt of 6.25m by the Indian, and this is not good enough here.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

Ancy Sojan with a poor first jump of 6.17m only. Just two jumps left for her.

MEN'S 4x400m RELAY

And a good heat by the Indians, as they will make it to the final. They finish second here with a time of 3.06.97s.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP

Ancy Sojan has is about to start too. She has a PB of 6.55m but would need a lot more to be in the finals.

MEN'S 4x400m RELAY

We also have men's 4x400m relay heats as Indian quartet will be in action too.

UPDATE - NExt up for India will be Ancy, in women's long jump qualification event. That will start at 4pm IST.

UPDATE - Yarraji finishes fourth in her heat here with a time of 13.18s. She might not go through after all with one more heat remaining.

Yarraji is all ready for her heat. She could make it to the next round, but you never know in athletics.
